Langkawi: The Island of Sea, Sands and Sunsets

If Sea, Sands and Sunsets fancy you, you are, where you are supposed to be!

If you haven't heard about this place, that's ok, but if you haven't been or seen this place, Do it. Langkawi is an archipelago made up of 99 islands on Malaysia’s west coast. White sands, blue/green water in the lap of mountains lush green forests with majestic waterfalls, shape the beauty of this place. If you are into Bollywood movies, you might have come across this place in movies like Kaho na Pyar hai, Roy, Don (googled that J ) Imagine the flaming lamps with tables/bean bags in the sand followed by the soothing fusion of acoustic guitar and waves of sea and letting the cocktails flow free. HEAVEN??? That's how the evenings in Langkawi appears like.

You know what is more cool? Langkawi is a tax-free Island. So, if you enjoy having some booze by the sea, roll over in the white sandy beach with some beers and friends or if alcohol is something you believe would make your trip more intriguing, this is the place you should be hitting next. One-third of what we are paying in Nepal is the price for booze. Things keep getting interesting each hour and each day in Langkawi. Once is not enough. Can't wait to go back!
